I made this peace during the exhibition ‘God Save the Queen’ (2012) in Centraal Museum Utrecht. I started the design with 6 artists with a mental disability. Later about 20 visitors assisted me live in the museum during the exhibition. The total work is 244 X 488 cm. Due to lack of storage, I sawed it into pieces and distributed it in public areas. It has now become an anarchistic puzzle.
I hope every part ends op at someones wall.
START! This life-size game is a real family game for all ages. It is played with dice. This is your chance to see your opponent (for example your father) do the most ridiculous challenges (if you can avoid them yourself).
Unfortunately, this was a trial and the game has already been removed. Because it was a great success, I am now working on a permanent location. FINISH
My mural using my homemade spray cannon made from a leaf blower, powered by a two-stroke engine.
The facade of our new spot on Hof van Cartesius was dedicated to me. It had to be done in a circular way. Fortunately, there were enough guys from my skateboarding circle of friends (team Poernaka) who donated their old boards to me to make this. My own collection is also among them. Quite one thing to get rid of your old boards. There are many memories attached to it, such as tricks that have landed on it, for example. Also slams of course, but they are part of it. Remko and Tommie from our crew also donated a few boards.
Genderphant, the androgynous Elephant and X-ray Nijn, an X-ray of DICK Bruna’s rabbit AKA Miffy are now hanging in Warmoes Utrecht at Hof van Cartesius.
This is the etching plate for the new board game “Game of Life” which may be released on 999 GAMES.
The etchings will be finished soon. Limited edition, AND FOR SALE!
